I do my best work close to the problem: understanding what the people who have it actually need, deciding what's worth building, and getting it into production quickly. Over nine years I've done that for a large Thai e-commerce marketplace, HPE's internal sales operations, a US SaaS product and a range of client projects.
More and more of that work involves AI. I build LLM-powered features with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and open-source models, including retrieval-augmented generation over company data, agents that call real APIs, and MCP integrations. They sit on the backend and data engineering I've done for years in Node.js, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL and AWS, which is what makes them reliable outside a demo.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy trekking, solo travelling, and exploring new ideas through books and technology.
